The fifth grade students went to the West Roxbury Courthouse for an award ceremony. There were three different schools: Sacred Heart, Holy Name, and of course the Mozart School. Three Mozart students won the essay contest award, and three students won the poster contest award.
We heard a guest speaker named Mr. Titus talking about Respecting the Rights of Others, the subject of the day. We heard bagpipes, drums and sang songs like the National Anthem. After the ceremony we ate a delicious lunch and saw a show with a K-9 named Rico. Last but not least we went inside a fire truck and a scuba diving truck. It was a very fun day!!!
