Officer Mccarthy

Officer McCarthy came to the Mozart School because the fifth grade made cards thanking him for saving the people who were hurt in the bombing. Officer McCarthy was helping the people who were not able to help themselves. His mother works at the Mozart school as the lunch manager.

We asked Officer McCarthy what his job was before he became a police officer. He sold souvenirs at Fenway Park. We asked him what he had to do to become a police officer. Officer McCarthy had to go to college, take a test, and go to the Police Academy for seven months.

Officer McCarthy gave us some things that were a badge, sticker badge, and a bracelet that said "No Violence Is Great." We enjoyed his visit. Officer McCarthy is a real hero!
