Celtics at the Mozart
The Celtics came to our school to promote the Read to Achieve program. Read to Achieve is to encourage children to read more often and on their grade level. Five Celtics players came to read to each classroom, along with Lucky the Leprechaun, Dana, members of Read Boston, and other helpers. They talked to us about reading and Lucky did some cool no-handed backflips! The Boston Globe even did a story about us and a video was on the Celtics web site!
We hope that the Celtics had fun because we did!
