Our 5th grade classroom went on a field trip to the West Roxbury library. We walked there and some of our parents came with us. At the library, Ms. Gwen taught us how to search the catalog for books in the libraries around the city of Boston. You can search the catalog from home if you need to find a book from the library. We looked for explorer books for our report. We also got books for fun, and movies and video games. We learned about some programs at the library, like book clubs and arts and crafts. Ms. Gwen told us about a book club where they eat a snack having to do with the book! We had fun at the library.
