Every year on May 1st is Law Day. We went on a field trip to the West Roxbury Discrict Courthouse to an award ceremony. We sent in essays and posters with the topic of "What does respect mean to you and How do our laws and the court system respect the rights of its citizens". We went to Law Day to receive awards and medals. There were six winners from each class. After we ate lunch after the award ceremony we got to watch the k-9 dog, go into the fire truck, and a underwater discovery unit.
