UNICEF Kid Power!

The Mozart grades 3-5 were asked to join and participate in this program called UNICEF Kid Power. It is a program where you wear a type of fit bit called a "kid bit". The band keeps track of how many steps you have taken throughout the day. About every 2,500 steps means a power point. Every 5 power points means 1 food packet being sent to countries that are not able to provide their people with basic needs. Basic needs such as food, clean water, and education are the things they need and by being active we are providing them with their basic needs. We're getting healthier by getting active and the people also get healthier by getting the nutrients they need from the UNICEF food packets.
