We recently finished the book Esperanza Rising and now we are doing a play about it. Esperanza Rising is about how a girl who was rich became poor and now she has to learn how to take care of herself. The people in the play are Esperanza, Mama, Miguel, Tio Luis/Alfonso, and the Lawyer/Narrator.
We had fun doing the play and next we will be writing our own play.
