On Election Day, the Mozart School had its own election
for president. About four 5th grade volunteers went around the school and
explained how to fill out the paper, and how to fold it so no one can see
your vote. This was because it was a secret ballot. The choices for president/vice
president were McCain/Palin and Obama/Biden. 111 people voted in all.
22 people voted for McCain, and 89 people voted for Obama. Obama
won easily, just like in the real election.
