After our first trip to the court house we were invited to go there again for Law Day. Before we went there we entered two types of contests. One was an essay contest about freedom and liberty under the law. The other was a poster contest showing liberty and freedom under the law. When we got to the court house for the second field trip Judge Coffey introduced the important people that were there: Mike Rush [a representative], Maura Hennigan [a city councilor] and Garin Veris [a famous NFL patriot football player]. There were also police and fire fighters there showing us their equipment. Some adults received flowers as gifts for their hard work. Later Judge Coffey announced the winners in the poster contest and the essay contest.LAW DAY!!!
